CRITICAL SYSTEMS & LEGACY ENGINEERING
Your critical systems. In committed hands.
Legacy software holds years of business knowledge. We work inside it, understand its dependencies and help it keep serving your business while it evolves.
When this is the right conversation
- 01A critical application depends on too few people.
- 02Maintenance consumes the time needed for new development.
- 03Changes feel risky because documentation and tests are incomplete.
- 04You need a long-term team to take over or extend an existing system.
The work
What we take on
System understanding
Code, architecture, integrations and business workflows: establish how the system really works.
Maintenance & stability
Investigate recurring incidents, address bottlenecks and improve the parts that matter to operations.
Continuous development
Deliver new business capabilities with regression checks and a planned release process.
Gradual modernization
Upgrade components and reduce technical debt in stages, guided by dependencies and business priorities.
Support hours, response targets and operational responsibilities are defined for each engagement.
Good questions to start with
Clarity from the start.
Do we need to replace the entire system?
No. We start by understanding the software and the business. Maintenance and gradual modernization may be the right path; in other cases, specific components are replaced against an agreed plan.
What does a dedicated team look like?
Our model includes at least one full-time developer dedicated to the project. We can integrate with your team or manage the development scope, with clear responsibilities.
Can we start with maintenance and add AI later?
Yes. Understanding the existing system helps identify useful AI workflows and integrate them into ongoing development when there is a clear business objective.
How do we know a new workflow is useful?
We agree on a baseline and success measures such as handling time, accuracy, human intervention and cost. Results are evaluated before expanding the rollout.
